French is the 2nd most needed world language in Ohio!

Results from a federal government program called Select USA shows that, when you add up the direct foreign investment in our state from French-speaking Canada, France and Switzerland, you quickly realize it is the second largest non-English foreign investment bloc in our state after Japan. As it happens, the combined French bloc surpassed Germany in 2020 when the last report was written. While many people jump to Spanish as the most important language to learn, French is very important to our Ohio students as well.
